New things every day!

About a week to 10-days ago the girls started coordinating objects going from their hand to their mouth. Mind you they are only successful about 5% of the time - it usually just goes somewhere above their sholder right now. I'm thinking that once they get this down we will have them reaching for things shortly there after.

Yesterday (2/22) we experienced our first roll over (from tummy to back) by Alexandra. After we had a little celebration I promptly placed her back on her tummy for more tummy-time with her sister. Unfortunately, she was unable to replicate her actions. Annelllice, who has yet to roll over, showed her how to holler and cry very loudly while rocking on their bellies. Poor Titan didn't know what to do, so he took shelter on the playmat (picture below). The dog looks awfully sad doesn't he!

This morning brought us more tummy-time. Alexandra was able to roll to her left and two her right side! Everytime I would set her back on her tummy she was rolling tummy to back within 5 seconds. Luckily, I was able to grab the camera and video it. To bad the blogging website will not upload it :(. I will keep trying though. Annellice did not have as good of a time. She was able to push her head and upper body up to almost 90 degrees at the start. That is a HUGE jump for her as previously her and Alexandra only push themselves up just enough to move their head to the other side.

UPDATE - More tummy time this afternoon and Annellice did her first roll over from tummy to back too! She watched Alexandra do it 5-6 times before doing it herself. She was faster than I could get to the camera so her video is missing her propping herself up.
