Pony Tails!!!

They are pretty darn cute when they leave their har styled. Alexandra prefers to put the elastics around her wrists. We have to keep an eye on her when that happens a those little things can cut of the circulation in her hands when there are 2-3 around.

Annellice is in the pink shirt and Alexandra is in the blue. Note, the reason for the head tilt is that they are trying to see the camera screen before the photo was done being taken.

Any you wonder how they know how to hold a cell phone? :)

August brings us to 23 Months!

Alexandra thought she was the cat's meow drawing in her special place. That was until her sister found her hiding spot and stepped in for some fun too. This turns into the only photo-op we had for marking the 23rd month in the appropriate time frame. Having them mobile and independent now has its challenges but life is way more fun!

There was a race?

The end of July brought brutal temperatures and race to the Richmond area. Kevin signed up and I toted the girls down to the venue at Rocketts Landing. The air temp was in the upper 80's and the water temp was a balmy 91F. The girls did well to brave it out in the elements as did Kevin. They were able to last until about 5 minutes before Kevin finished before melting down. Then is was a quick wakl back to the car and into some much needed AC.

Alexandra was giving us a little bit of her attitude look before bed that night.

Pictures too funny looking not to post...

July with their friends!

The first weekend in July Cadence came over for a visit while Kevin and his buddies went out for a long bike ride. The first which would have hoped to be many but so far that has not panned out well with the travel schedule this year. None the less everyone had fun cramming their faces with food and learning how to share (well really trade) their toys.

The next day the girls were a little wired in the evening. I think is was do to the nearby early July 4th partying. At first Alexandra was scared of the noises produced. Annellice of course was her in her standard position of pointing and "ooh-ing" in the direction from which the noise came. These are pics from later that night.

More June Pictures

They are getting big! So big they thought my running shoes would fit them.

Fun photos from June

Loving the hair barrettes... and then not so much. Annellice likes the girls hair products more than Alexandra does these days: Shortly after the above photos we found this creature on the tire of the trailer:

The Bath County fight. When you walk away from your sitting place it should be known that is it up for grabs for anyone else, right?!? Annellice didn't get the memo apparently.
